We at Evolution Dermatology and Wellness are experts in diagnosing and treating medical skin conditions such as acne, eczema and perform preventative skin exams. Cosmetic Consults
For a cosmetic consultation, you will meet with one of our experienced Physician Assistants who have been involved with cosmetic dermatology for over 20 years. They will put together a treatment plan specifically for you and recommend treatments for your skin care needs. They can also customize a skincare regimen that you can follow at home to help prevent and repair sun damage and fight the signs of aging.
IPL/Photofacial (Intense Pulsed Light)
This is a non-invasive treatment to remove brown spots, telangiectasia and discoloration on your face, neck, chest, arms or hands. It can improve your skin quality with very little downtime. We have had experience with IPL for over 20 years and are confident in the cosmetic results this treatment has to offer.
Botox/Neurotoxins
These treatments only take minutes and result in improvement of dynamic wrinkles – like crows feet, the furrow between your brow or forehead lines. Neurotoxins are injected into dynamic wrinkles to eliminate the wrinkle by relaxing the exaggerated muscle contraction in that area. The effects of botox will last from 3-6 months, so with only 3-4 injections per year you can maintain a smooth, youthful appearance.
Fillers (Juvederm/Restylane/ RHA/Volbella/Voluma)
At Evolution, we only use FDA approved safe fillers (including Juvederm, Voluma, Restylane and Radiesse) that create a natural result. These fillers can add volume to areas that have changed over time and resolve facial folds and wrinkles. There is an art to injecting fillers…come and experience our mastery. All of these fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a gel that is safe and FDA-approved.
Chemical Peels
Chemical facial peels are when a specific strength of acid or enzyme solution is placed on your skin. This actually causes controlled destruction at a specific level of the skin. By removing the dead and damaged surface skin cells the new regenerated skin is allowed to shine! Your skin has improved texture, is less wrinkled, has less pigmentation and fewer acne spots than the old damaged skin. Your skin will be smoother – makeup goes on better.
Microneedling +/- PRP
Microneedling is a procedure where an electric-powered pin device with fine needles is moved across your skin. The needles puncture the top layer of the skin and create a controlled skin injury (micro wounds) with the goal of improving skin texture and promoting collagen growth. Once a micro-injury is created with the needles, your body is stimulated to produce new collagen to fill them in as part of the healing process. This new collagen can make your skin look smoother, tighter, and more youthful. It can also help diminish acne scars.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)
PRP for hair loss, injections for fine lines and can be combined with microneedling. Your body has the ability to heal itself. Platelet-rich plasma therapy is a form of regenerative medicine that can harness those abilities and amplify the natural growth factors your body uses to heal and stimulate the growth of new cells. A quick blood draw is done in our office and placed in a centrifuge where your blood is spun down to harvest the platelet rich plasma. We put this gold serum into a syringe where it can be injected or placed on your skin during microneedling.
Sclerotherapy for Leg Veins
Here at Evolution, we inject unwanted spider leg veins with one of a couple different solutions. The procedure takes about 30 minutes and you will be instructed to keep on Coban wraps or support hose for 3 days. The veins will look darker and more apparent at first and will fade over the course of a month. For best results, no strenuous exercise for 3 days following your procedure. This is a treatment that can take a couple of times before all of the vessels are resolved but it is a great way to get those legs ready for summer or a warm vacation!
Kybella
KYBELLA® is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment that destroys fat cells in the treatment area under the chin to improve your profile. It is about a 30 min procedure in the office where a Kybella is injected. The exact number of injections will depend on the amount of fat you have under your chin and your desired profile. For the best outcome you will need anywhere from 1 to 6 treatments, done one month apart.
Radiesse Collagen Stimulation
Radiesse has been used as a filler for years. But you may not know that it is also a well-established collagen stimulator. It can be used in hyperdiluted form as a biostimulatory agent rather than a volumizing filler to improve skin quality and firmness in areas like your face, neck, decollete, arms and even above your knees.
Aquagold Glow Treatment
These treatments can induce collagen stimulation on the face, neck, chest and hands to improve texture, decrease pore size, reduce excess oil production and help with acne scars. Aquagold is a microfusion device made with hollow bore needles similar to microneedling which can drive products deep into the dermal layers of the skin.
