Skin Cancers (Basal Cell, Squamous Cell and Melanoma) and pre-cancers (Actinic Keratoses)
We are meticulous at your skin exams and with each diagnosis you can have multiple options for treatment. This could include surgery, topical prescription creams or liquid nitrogen treatment. We can discuss what may be the best treatment option for you and also have referral resources for Mohs and Melanoma treatments.
Acne and Rosacea
We are experts in diagnosing and treating hormonal acne, teenage acne and adult acne. Facial peels and in-office treatments as well as prescriptions and at home plans may be discussed and most days we are available for same day acne cyst injections.
Flares and maintenance for rosacea symptoms can be frustrating and we have many treatment options including prescriptions, at home tips, and in office cosmetic treatments for rosacea and facial redness.
Atopic Dermatitis, Eczema, Itchy Skin and Rashes
You may have sensitive skin genetically or react to things that touch your skin or are in your environment. Rashes can develop for many reasons, like a reaction to a medication or something you were exposed to. Some rashes can even be a sign of an autoimmune disorder. We can diagnose these and treat them in many ways, depending on your situation.
Hair Loss
Hair loss can happen for many reasons – genetics, stress, autoimmune causes, hormones and many other causes. We can help determine the cause and offer a large variety of treatment options depending on your specific circumstance.
Warts, Cysts and Skin Growths
There are many treatments for these conditions, depending on your diagnosis. A simple excision, a biopsy or an at home prescription may be appropriate. We can discuss your diagnosis and whatever treatment option may be the best for your diagnosis.
Hyperhidrosis
Hyperhidrosis is the medical term for excess sweating. This may be only in your underarm area or extend to your hands or feet. There are several options including prescriptions and even Botox that may be helpful if you have trouble with excess sweating.
Keloid Scars or Hypertrophic Scars
Scars can be painful and itchy. We can assess your particular situation/diagnosis and talk about what treatments are available to help you.
Psoriasis
There are many more successful treatments for psoriasis that have been developed in recent years. These include biologic medications, oral prescriptions and topical treatments. We can assess what may be the best treatment for you depending on how much skin involvement you have and if you have any psoriatic arthritis associated.
